Initial Designs
At SureCo there were no dashboards—just disconnected pages and inconsistent table designs across the platform.
My initial work focused on establishing visual cohesion and introducing a centralized dashboard to give HR teams a clear, actionable view of employee data.
I focused on core experiences of the dashboard. Exploring different versions of the: Employee tracking, Bulk actions, Contextual banners, and Tables.
Employee Progress Tracker
The Employee Progress Tracker is a central dashboard component designed to help HR admins quickly see where each employee stands in the benefits enrollment process—making it easier to support employees and boost overall HR efficiency during Open Enrollment.
Exploration of four different progress tracker patterns
Funnel View
Each enrollment step is shown as its own graph—but it’s unclear that 187 employees are represented, how the date picker works, or if there should be visual separation between graphs.

Bulk Actions
The Bulk Actions feature allows HR admins to take action on multiple employee records at once—streamlining repetitive tasks and enhancing usability by reducing the time needed to manage benefit updates at scale.

Send Reminder
Bulk Send Reminder with confirmation dialogs—quickly notify employees and get clear feedback when messages are sent.
Bulk vs Single Action
A list of bulk vs. single actions HR admins can take—streamlining how they manage employee tasks at scale or individually.
Contextual Banners
The Contextual Banners feature surfaces updates—like key deadlines and outstanding enrollments—directly on the dashboard, helping to centralize information and keep HR admins focused on what matters without digging through multiple systems.
We created a prototype that brought together key features—Employee Progress Tracker, Bulk Actions, and Contextual Banners—to centralize information, enhance usability, and boost HR efficiency.
